Lauren Epstein

Planning Manager, Caring Commission, UJA-Federation of New York

Lauren is a planning manager in the Caring Commission of UJA-Federation of New York. In this capacity, she provides complete management and oversight for UJA-Federation’s work in the space of aging. Through strategic planning and allocation of resources as well as through convening and dialoging with key stakeholders, she is responsible for developing initiatives that ensure that Jewish older adults are embraced by community so that they can thrive in the environments of their choice with a range of opportunities for support, engagement, and more.

Prior to joining UJA-Federation, Lauren worked at the Conference of Presidents of Major American Jewish Organizations, where she served in a variety of capacities, most recently as project director. She graduated from the University of Michigan with a bachelor’s in organizational studies and earned a master’s in applied psychology from New York University. She lives in Brooklyn, NY with her husband and daughter.
