Sheri Wagner Greenbaum is a Detroit native. She met her husband Steve on JFNA’s National Young Leadership Cabinet, and joined him in Chicago after getting married in November of 2008. While in Detroit, Sheri served on the board of governors for the Jewish Federation of Metropolitan Detroit, was on Congregation Shaarey Zedek’s board of trustees and was an active lay leader in the Detroit Jewish community.
Most notably, Sheri co-chaired Detroit’s Israel at 60 Celebration, one of the largest gatherings ever of the Detroit Jewish community with more than 13,000 people in attendance in one place at one time. While living in Detroit, Sheri was the recipient of the Mark Family Young Leadership Award. Since moving to Chicago, Sheri has chaired the Young Women’s City Council within the Chicago JUF women’s division.
Professionally, Sheri is the Executive Vice President of pulse220, a meeting, event and live marketing agency based in Detroit. She plans meetings and events around the country for companies like Gatorade, PepsiCo, Lear and Quicken Loans.
Sheri and Steve have been married for almost 6 years and have two young children, Jordyn and Jake.
