Lisa Harris Glass joined the Jewish Federation of Northern New Jersey in 2010. Recently tasked as their managing director of community planning and impact, she has been applying her expertise in strategic planning and analysis to rewrite her Federation’s planning and allocations process.
Her 20+ years in the field include fourteen years as a synagogue executive director, and seven years as an agent of change for synagogues at the United Synagogue of Conservative Judaism, as director of the Synagogue Leadership Initiative and Jewish Educational Services at the Jewish Federation of Northern New Jersey, and as a private consultant.
Lisa’s insights and expertise have been sought after by such varied endeavors as think tanks and start-ups and she has traveled across North America teaching and consulting at conferences, workshops and providing coaching to organizations and individuals. Her guest lecturing engagements have included the Jewish Theological Seminary of America, the Jewish Federations of Southern New Jersey, Rockland County, and Middlesex County, NAASE (North American Association of Synagogue Executives), as well as many synagogues and Jewish organizations.
