Andrew Lustig

Jewish Spoken Word Artist

Andrew Lustig is a writer, ‘Jewish Slam Poet’ and Jewish identity workshop facilitator. Films of Andrew’s poems have been viewed online over 500,000 times. From 2013 to 2014, Andrew delivered keynote addresses at national conferences for the USCJ, the URJ the UJIA in London, the JNF, BBYO, Hillel and the WUJS. Andrew will be a presenter at Limmud UK in 2014.

Andrew is a co-creator and the educational director of the One Wish Film Project. Both ‘One Wish’ films have been viewed over 100,000 times and have received international awards and substantial media coverage.

 A 2013-2014 Dorot Fellow in Israel, Andrew studied Jewish and Buddhist mindfulness meditation. In the summer, Andrew is an artist-in-residence and mentor for college students at the Brandeis Collegiate Institute in L.A. Andrew spent a year studying at the Pardes Institute for Jewish Studies in Jerusalem.
