Eran began his educational career in 1992 and came to the field of education from the business world. Over the last 15 years at the Leo Baeck Education Center in Israel, Eran has served as the director of the early childhood division, director of administration, director of HR, director of physical development, the Leo Baeck Middle School principal, deputy managing director of the Leo Baeck Education Center, the Leo Baeck Senior High School principal and interim general manager of the Leo Baeck Educatuion Center.
Eran also served for three years as the principal of the WIZO-Leo Baeck High School for the Performing and Visual Arts, which merged with the Leo Baeck Education Center. From 2011-2012, he was superintendent of the city of Haifa, and head of the Haifa administration for education and culture.
Eran teaches economics, Middle Eastern studies, Arabic and current events at the Leo Baeck Senior High School, and economy of education at the Gordon College for Principal's Training. He is an intelligence officer in the IDF reserves and is an expert on Middle Eastern issues and on the Arab-Israeli conflict, and lectures on these subjects in Israel within many frameworks.
Eran holds a bachelor's degree in political science and business administration from Haifa University and a master’s degree in educational leadership from UAB. Eran is leading the process of establishing the YEDA-Leo Baeck school in Israel.
