Shannon Hahn is a project coordinator at the Virginia Institute for Psychiatric and Behavioral Genetics in Richmond, Virginia.
Though Shannon grew up with a deeply ingrained Jewish identity, it wasn't until her Birthright trip to Israel that she really took an active role in the Richmond community. Upon returning from Israel Shannon has since sought out other young Jewish professionals and joined Temple Beth Ahaba's volunteer adult choir. When she is not actively participating in the Jewish community, Shannon fully immerses herself behavioral genetics research attending and giving presentations at academic conferences across the United States.
Shannon graduated from Virginia Commonwealth University in fall of 2012 on the pre-medical track achieving a BA in Psychology.
